We are not certified organic by any certification board. We will always use the organic option if it is available and effective, but we decided against certification because it dramatically reduces the amount of active ingredients available to use. STUK only chooses ingredients that work.

Many brands now use the word 'nutrition' or 'nutritious' to describe an ingredient, especially oils. However, our skin cannot break down ingredients into individual nutrients like our gut does. Real skin nutrition only includes bio-available nutrients - when the individual nutrient is in a form that the skin cell can use directly. This is why STUK only uses bio-available actives and nutrients that our skin will recongise, absorb and benefit from. 

We're absolutely 100% against animal cruelty. STUK does not conduct or commission animal testing on any of its products or ingredients, or by way of any of our laboratories or suppliers. Animal testing for cosmetics is illegal in the European Union since 2009 and additional laws were adopted in the UK in 2012.
